June Favorites

Milani's Baked Blush in Luminoso
A soft peach-pink with gold flecks
the color is very pigmented and lasts long.
I have been using this blush almost everyday.
I love the soft look it gives me.
It looks like I have to get me a backup soon since I am almost hitting pan on it.

 Milani's Baked Bronzer in Soleil
I have not been able to put this bronzer down since I got it.
Very pigmented not too shimmery.
Perfect for summer.
Plus a dupe for my favorite Mac MSF in Comfort

Revlon's Whipped Foundation  in 320 Warm Golden
Has managed to control my rescent oily skin troubles.
Stays long, flawless effect.
Great Foundation.

Avon's Ideal Flawless Pressed Powder in Natural
Great powder for touch up's, helps absorb the oil on
my face and keeps my face looking matte and oil-free.

Wet n' Wild Vanity Palette
I love this palette and have been using it on a daily basis.
You can create natural, dramatic and many other looks with this palette.
I'm already out of the matte beige color which I LOVE!
I need to get a backup soon.

Avon's Super Extend Extreme Mascara in Black
This mascara lengthens-defines my lashes and adds volume as well.
Does not clump or sticks my lashes together.

Avon's Smooth Minerals Lipgloss in Natural Glow
This is my second tube. I use this gloss everyday for work.
It gives me a nice sheer glow and leaves my lips super soft.
 Love this!!

Sigma Blush Brush F10
I actually haven't stopped using this brush for my blush application since I got my Pro Kit in March 2012.
This brush is very soft and dense, plus the application it provides is beautiful.
It picks up good amount of color and I just love it.
It is a med flat paddle brush that can also be used to contour.
I use it just for blush, specially those blushes that are light and you want to pick up more color in them,
this is the perfect brush.

Sigma Eye Blending Brush E25
This is another of my favorite brushes.
This is not like my Mac 217 for some reason the bristles on this brush are just a little longer than the Mac 217 but shorter than the Sigma E35 (comp. to Mac 224) which I really love. To me is like I have 3 different brushes.
This brush is also very soft, dense and for application is just awesome. It works for crease application blending, all over eye color and there are many other ways you can use this brush for like for concealer or to set your concealer. I only use it for the eyes though.
I have not been able to put it down since I got it either.

elf's Face Kabuki Brush
This is another brush I have not put down since I got it in March 2012.
I use this brush to set my foundation and to touch up by pressing the powder onto my face rather than blending.
I find that this technique makes my foundation look flawless and last longer.
It is very soft and dense, made out of synthetic hairs.
It is said to be antibacterial. It is absorbent.
The top of the brush is perfect for my powder application as it flattens while applying the product.
I just love this brush too.

Eyelid Primer
elf's Eyeshadow Primer in Sheer
Honestly I haven't even used my UDPP in Eden for a while now.
elf's primer actually does what it claims.
This primer preps your eyelid for smoother, longer-lasting and crease-proof eyeshadow.
The lightweight liquid formula quickly absorbs into the skin for comfortable wear and increases eye color longevity.
One of my favorite primers.
On the picture the shadow to the right is the one on top of the primer.

So here are my June's Favorites.
As you can see most of these are Drugstore Products good quality and cheaper.
I love all of them and will keep using them.
I know I have posts on some of these items.
If you would like me to make a more detailed review on the rest, let me know and I will be happy to do it.

MY REVIEW
I'm think that this foundation is a better formula than the old Ideal Foundation which I hated.
This foundation is a thick-whipped liked in texture,
I actually like the texture of the product.
The coverage is buildable.
This foundation has silver specks in it I guess for a radiant look.
I did not see the specks when I had the foundation on maybe because,
I do set my foundation with a matte powder foundation.
It does not feel thick or cakey but it does last a bit to sink into the skin.
I applied the foundation at 8:00 am touched up at around 12:30 p.m. with my Ideal Flawless Pressed Powder since it was starting to feel a bit oily and at about 4:00 p.m. it was already sliding off my cheekbones, nose and forehead area.
I guess to keep it in place I do have to touch up a few times thrughout the day.
I got my foundation in the color Sand Beige but it was a bit light for me.
For reference I am a NC35-37 in Mac Studio Fix Fluid.
I initially got this foundation because I see PIXIWOO on you tube using it alot.
It looks very nice when they apply it on their videos.
Maybe this foundation will work better in the Winter time for me since I do have combination skin.
For now it will go in the Winter Makeup Drawer and I will try it out when it starts getting cold and see how it works then since
I really like the texture and the coverage.
Maybe this foundation can be good for those with normal to dry skin.
If any of you tried this foundation and got different results,
I'd love to hear how you applied it and how it worked for you.

MY REVIEW
I like to have a Tinted Moistourizer on my makeup kit for the Summer.
I wear tinted moistourizer when going to the pool, beach etc.
I wanted to give this a try since I love Artistry Products.
Now I know that tinted Moistourizers only provide with a sheer coverage and are suppose to help you at least even out your skintone.
Like when going to the beach or pool,  or even when you're going on your daily workout or outdoor jog which is the purpose of me owning a TM.
I got this in the color Tint 4.
Unfortunately this tm was not my friend.
Before appliying the TM I applied my oil free moistourizer, then applied the TM and let it sink in for a few minutes and finally set it with my Artistry Ideal Dual Foundation Powder to set.
Not even an hour later when I touched my face the whole thing came off leaving a patch on my face. Even my husband noticed how bad it looked and pointed it out to me.
It slides off my face, it did not make me look oily but it was just not staying in place at all.
I really had high expactations on this, at least expected longer and
a bit stronger staying power and a little bit of coverage.
This had very minimal coverage almost nothing.
When I set it, my skin did evened out a bit but I did set it with a powder foundation.
I have used 1 other tm and that is the Mark get aTint Tinted Moistourizer which is cheaper $12.00  and it has more coverage, lasts longer and does not slide around or looks milky when in the water.
I haven't given up on the Artistry Tinted moisturizer just yet because
I want to use it in different ways to see if I can make it work.
For the price I paid for $23.65 I really don't want to just throw it in the junk drawer.
I will give it a few more tries before I completely give up on it.
I will actually use it when I got out to the pool again and see how that works.

Thanks for Stopping By!

Avon Precision Grip Teardrop Blender

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Unique shape and suede-like texture helps blend makeup seamlessly by eliminating visible lines and streaks. 2 3/8" x 1 5/8". Polyurethane.
Price $4.99

TIP:
Use wide, rounded area for overall face coverage and blendability.
Use the pointed end on hard-to-reach or delicate areas, such as under eyes or near nose and mouth.

MY REVIEW
I do not own the "Famous Beauty Blender" so I won't be able to compare it to that.
I do own the Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge and I can see the difference in these 2.
Soo..
Size it is the same size as the SK sponge.
It feels way softer and bouncier than the SK sponge.
The texture is not rough like other sponges, SK was too rough on me and the makeup would get so stuck in the sponge that even washing it wouldn't help.
This sponge feels softer and has a suede/velvety texture in my opinion.
When you wet this sponge you can actually feel it and see that it got bigger and bouncier.
Application wise, I press my liquid foundation with this sponge onto my face and it does give me a more flawless effect, since you are just pressing in the product and not really moving it around. I washed the sponge after I used it and no makeup stayed behind like on my SK sponge.
Overall I did liked this sponge, like I said I do not own the BB and I have seen a few videos where they say that Avon's Blender it is not comparable to the BB, but in my opinion is a good sponge for liquid foundation application for those that like to use sponges.
I paid $4.99 for this brush which I believe is way cheaper than the BB.
I am tempted in buying the BB just to see the difference in both.
So far I am happy with my sponge.

Hope this review was helpful to you guys.

Price $14.99 at CVS

MY REVIEW
I have been trying soo many foundations lately since I am on the hunt for a good Summer Foundation.
So here is another try for me.
Texture-It is said to be a mousse like foudation but its not which I actually prefer. I do not like the mousse foundations since they ball up when I apply them.
The texture is very creamy but not too thick it kind of feels like a gel based foundation but just a bit thicker. I like the texture.
Coverage/Lasting Power-This is a buildable foundation for medium to full coverage. It does not feel to heavy nor does it cake on me.
It actually remains matte throughout the day. I don't know about it lasting 24hrs. because I do not wear my makeup that long, but it does last a good 10 hrs. looking very nice.
I like that I did not feel my foundation was sliding off my face.
I was testing this for the first time and did noticed that after 8 hrs. of applying this foundation I fealt the need to touch up.
Although I do touch up with pressed powder throughout the day.
Packaging-It is a glass jar, a bit heavy and bulky for carrying around.
The only thing I don't like about jars is that I have to actually touch my foundation since I have to use my finger as I don't like to dip my brush inside the jar, but I do like the product so Im willing to deal with this for now. I do prefer foundations with a pump.
My Color-the shade I got is 320 Warm Golden. For reference I am a NC35-37 in Mac. Warm Golden is almost my perfect match just a bit lighter not too much though. It has a bit of yellow undertone which is what I look for in my foundations and it is hard to find in Drugstore brands. I will purchase the next color 330 just beacuse I will get darker this summer. I will post an update about the color once I get it.
Price- At CVS it is $14.99 it is half of what I pay for my HG foundation. Although I actually paid only $7 since I used CVS Coupons and Extra Bucks. So it was a good deal for me.
Overall-I liked this foundation for the summer so far.
It does stay, does not move around and has a good coverage.
I did not breakout with this.
For a daily use this foundation is good for me.

Hope you guys liked this review!

Made with pure mineral pigments for luminous color. Free of talc, oil and fragrance so it’s great for sensitive skin.
.2 oz. net wt.*
Price $12.00

MY REVIEW
I usually wear this powder foundation in the summer.
It is a loose powder, mineral, the texture is medium/thick like the powder foundations I like, but in a loose powder form.
Coverage is very good I consider it to be a full coverage powder foundation.
It is buildable so you can get the coverage you want with this foundation but be careful because it can cause some cakeness if you apply too much of it.
I apply it on top of my Artistry Essentials Concealer in the summer and I get a beautiful coverage.
Lasting power is also very good. I apply it in the morning an all I do after that is touch up with a pressed powder.
This foundation does have shimmer in it since it is mineral, but it is very minimal in my opinion specially since I wear it in the summer most of the time. I don't see it being a huge problem, I am ok with it and I hate shimmery foundations. This one is not too shimmery in my opinion.
This line has a good color range, the only thing as with all Avon foundations and powders you have to buy at least more than one to get your perfect match. At least I always have to.
Once you know your color, youre set.
The only thing I really don't like about this foundation and the reason why I don't use it all the time is because it is too messy. I still have the old package on this foundation and it gets all over the place.
Loose powders of any kind are not to my liking I hate it when it gets everywhere and specially on my clothe.
You really need to make time and apply this carefully so that it doesn't get all over the place..I really have to try the new packaging and see if that makes it less messy for me.
Other than the messy part I really like this product and it's coverage.
So far it is my Summer foundation for a daily basis until I find my HG Summer Foundation, and as I always mention on my Avon Posts.
Prices always go on sale so I wait until this goes for $7.99 to order.
I think that it the cheapest it gets but I may be wrong.
Before I end my post I really prefer the Smooth Minerals loose powder from the Smooth Minerals Pressed.. for some reason the pressed has more shimmer in it and the colors are darker..
For Reference I am and NC35-37 in Mac and I use the color
Shell or Sand Beige in the Summer.

I hope this review was helpful!

Mark Matte Chance Mattifying Lotion

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pumpkin Seed, a natural mattifier; sugar cane, a source of alpha hydroxy acide;
and silica, an oil absorber, play key roles in this light, oil-free moisturizer.
Price $18.00

MY REVIEW/OPINION
I had never tried any skin care from Mark but I have been in the hunt for a good oil-free moistourizer
since I have combination skin and tend to get oily in the Summer.
I decided to order it and give it a try.
I have to start with the scent, it smelled too much like alcohol the first time I
pumped it, but it seems as it was just the first pumps.
The scent  after to me is like sugar/vanilla. Very nice in my opinion.
Packaging-It is bigger than what it looks like on the brochure and online. I like the packaging.
It has a pumplike tray on top that you push down to get the product.
One pump is enough for the whole face.
When I first smelled the alcohol I though my face would get extremely dry and was afraid to use it, but I gave it a try anyway and I actually liked it. It did not dry my skin and it actually left it feeling soft.
The moistourizer absorbs in the skin right away.
This moistourizer actually controled the oil throughout the day. I did not get shiny at all.
The only bad thing about this is that it has NO SPF..
When it comes to my skincare I need to have SPF somewhere in my products.
My foundation has 20 SPF so I guess I can make it up there.
If this product had SPF it would of been a great product for me in the summer.
The price never goes down with Mark products which is a bummer because they are a bit pricy.
It is $18.00 the size of the container is pretty big, but it is hard to see when your running out or how much product it actually has, not very practical in my opinion.
The pump is good as far as how much product you dispence in one pump, but again hard to see when you need to purchase another jar.
Overall this is a good moistourizer if you spent most of the time indoors and as far as controling oily skin
it has done it for me so I guess it is good enough for now until I find the perfect oil-free moistourizer.

For Reference
I think I liked the Avon Clearskin Professional Oil Free Lotion
better than this one, and it has SPF 15.
I liked it better because it made may makeup look flawless so it semmed to work as as primer and moistourizer as well.

Avon Ideal Flawless Pressed Powder

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
INVISIBLEND TECHNOLOGY
Avon’s exclusive patent-pending technology with skin-matching pigments in various sizes and shapes, softens light from every angle for perfectly invisible coverage.
Lightweight powder blends to a soft finish.
Sheer-to-medium coverage.
.4 oz. net wt.
Price $10.00

MY REVIEW/OPINION
First of all what I look for in my powders is medium to full coverage.
I look for the texture as the Mac Studio Fix Powder-That soft silky but a bit thick feel.
This powder is very lightweight. It kind of reminds me of that texture on Mac's Careblend Powder.
Frankly I would not use this powder alone because it does not give me any coverage, but to set my liquid or cream foundation this will work great.
I have noticed that this powder does mattify my face when I retouch and I like that.
It does absorb the oil on my face.
Lasting Power is actually good although I usually retouch my powder throughout the day when needed.
Overall I do like this powder for an everyday use, again to set my liquid or cream foundation and retouch my face throughout the day.
I purchased the color Neutral but it is just a little light for me, I will purchase the next color and maybe it will look even ever. I will update this post once I get the other color.
For reference I use NC35 on Mac Studio Fix Powder.

I hope this review was helpful!

Price $7.00

INGREDIENTS
MINERAL OIL/HUILE MINERALE

OZOKERITE
PETROLATUM
SYNTHETIC WAX
BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA BUTTER) EXTRACT
SILICA
TOCOPHERYL ACETATE
TOCOPHEROL
PROPYLPARABEN
MY REVIEW/OPINION
I just got a new pair of shoes and as soon as I put them on
I knew I would probably get a blister.
Since I had purchased this anti blister stick and had not used it, I gave it a try.
I applied it all over the back of my foot where the back of my shoe was bothering a bit.
It actually helped me and I did not get a blister.
It did not stain my shoe. The product is not too thick or greasy which can get messy. So this part I liked.
It does not have a scent.
I know there may be other stuff that can be cheaper or not necessary a blister stick but so far this product helped me in not getting a painful blister.
Of course I got this when it was on sale for about $3.99
I do have to say that there is not much product in this stick.
The stick is about 2" tall and not even have of that in product inside.
Overall I am happy I did not get a blister but not happy with the amount of product it has.
If I do buy this again I would buy it only when it goes on sale. I would not pay full price
for it as it is too expensive for the amount of product it gives.
On the other hand if you have sensitive feet and tend to get blisters often then I would probably pick one up.

Hope this review was helpful to you guys.

Avon Foot Works Corn and Callus Softening Balm
